We met in welding school, where I originally thought Kaiden was kind of annoying. He was always messing with me and I couldn’t figure out why… until I realized he was actually flirting.

We didn’t officially get together until closer to the end of the school year since he was a year ahead of me, but once we did, things moved pretty fast. Our first date was a Colter Wall concert with my parents and sister, which pretty much set the tone for everything that followed.

Not long after that, Kaiden was basically always at my house and quickly became part of the family. He stayed over so much that we joked the couch was his bed, and he eventually got coined “the guy on the couch.” Before long, my parents gave him the spare room and it officially became his home too.

On April 25, 2025, he proposed with the help of my mom, sister, and our close family friend Keeley during what I thought was just a senior photo shoot. It ended up being a lot more memorable than I expected.

In early 2026, we took a 19 day trip across Europe with my parents and sister. While we were in Montepulciano, we eloped at a little Airbnb with my parents there with us. Our hosts set everything up and made us a four course dinner, and it was absolutely perfect.

We’re so excited to celebrate with everyone and keep this adventure going.
